Its objective was to develop a sport that fosters discipline, skill, precision, strategic thinking, team spirit, and physical prowess among Indian youth, while establishing a new identity for India on the global sports stage. The most distinctive feature of Shootball is its pentagonal ring, which symbolizes the game's five core principles: Skill, Accuracy, Speed, Strategy, and Teamwork. The most thrilling aspect of the game is the "5-Point Shoot." When a player successfully shoots the ball through the pentagonal ring from the designated "5-Point Zone" located behind the pole, their team earns 5 points. This is the highest score in the game and stands as a testament to the player's exceptional ability, confidence, and precision. Shootball is not merely a competitive sport but an initiative to give a new direction to India's indigenous sports movement. Its aim is to promote home-grown sports, connect the youth with Indian sports innovation, and strengthen India's sporting identity at both national and international levels in the future.
